STRICT ZERO-HAZING POLICY
The Pi Kappa Alpha international Fraternity, and particularly the Zeta Pi chapter, abides by a strict zero-hazing policy. Not only is hazing illegal, but we fundamentally believe that hazing violates the core values of our fraternity as outlined in our vision, mission, creed, and ritual.
The Zeta Pi chapter operates in full compliance with all university policies and all state, local, and federal laws on hazing. As such, hazing is not tolerated among our members.
UNIQUE SOCIAL PROGRAMMING
COMMITTED TO SERVICEc
As a social fraternity, we are committed to providing our members with high quality social programming that will create fun, lasting memories.
Recent social events have included "PIKE Fright Night", where we take our members and a date of choice to Busch Gardens' Howl-O-Scream. In the spring we hold our annual Brotherhood Deap Sea Fishing Trip and our Dreamgirl Social, where we treat that years Dreamgirl and her entire sorority chapter to a fully paid social.
Recruitment Schedule
Pi Kappa Alpha's brothers and new members support several philanthropic causes each year, raising thousands of dollars for various charitable organizations. In the fall of 2013, USF Pikes held our first annual Fireman's Challenge philanthopy event, raising over $9,000.00 for Friends of Tampa Firefighters, inc. in their efforts to construct a permanent memorial to Tampa firefighters who have given their lives in service to our community. Despite being in it's first year, Fireman's Challenge was the most successful event of it's kind sponsored by any men's Fraternity at USF.
We also participate in most major philanthropic events within USF's Greek community as well as other, community-wide events including USF's Dance Marathon, Delta Gamma's Anchor Splash, Sigma Delta Tau's Putting On The Hits (POTH), Zeta Tau Alpha's Octobreastfest, and Alpha Delta Pi's Cheer Toss and Tumble.
